Job evaluation

Measuring is knowing and knowing is doing…

Briefly, job evaluation is determining the value of the function and linking this value to the reward system. The Netherlands has one of the world’s highest job evaluation densities, so almost every organization in our country has to deal with it. Job evaluation increases the legal certainty of the employee and, in addition, makes the wage policy manageable and justifies the differences in wages. With job valuation we express what the added value of each function is in relation to all other functions, and with function profiles we provide what we expect from our employees. Function profiles could be created per organisation, based on industry / business CAO-specific function evaluation systems. In conclusion, matters like skills, competences, performance domains and responsibilities can be added as criteria in the employability monitor. Furthermore, it’s also possible to specify a standard per function-scale and function-rung.
